I'm passionate about

Acting is something that I have done since I was a little kid. I was always involved in plays since kindergarten and won many fancy dress competitions or competitions where I impersonated celebrities and politicians. As I grew from getting my cheeks pinched from teachers, my passion for acting grew with it. I joined the dramatics club of my school, and I learnt how easy it was to express yourself through acting. I stayed after school for practices of plays daily for 5 years. Acting requires a lot of time, love, discipline, patience and confidence for someone to play a single role. With every role I played, I transformed myself in unimaginable ways that not only groomed my overall personality but opened my eyes to the world. I was awarded best actress in many competitions and Prodigy in dramatics scholarship consecutively for two years. I have also worked with DDnational for many awareness campaigns through street plays in rural areas for projects like child rights, boond, dental hygiene, CBSE series and swachh Bharat Abhiyan which were aired nationally on television. When it came time to part with school and enter college, I wanted to try my hand at something new and went towards academic societies and event management. However, at the same time, didn't want to lose my passion for acting and still maintain my connection with it. As a result, I joined the filmmaking society of my college, using my experience of various roles to help draft and direct not one, but two movie scripts. It felt amazing to see your vision, just a script turn into reality through a lens, and this time by other people playing the roles. I sometimes still visit my school to help direct and write plays for the club. My passion for acting hasn't stopped I have just changed my role. Quoting Shakespeare here "All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts"
