Bio

Marisa Biaggi is an Account Supervisor in Corporate & Public Affairs at Edelman New York, where she specializes in integrated content creation strategy and video production for multimedia platforms, serving as a group resource for a wide range of accounts. Her current clients include Johnson and Johnson, ITT, RISD, GE and Higher One. Prior to joining the firm, Marisa worked at the Metropolitan Opera as Creative Content Manager and Associate Producer for the Met’s web, television and theatrical streams, winning a Peabody in 2009 and an Emmy in 2008 as an Associate Producer for her work on the Met’s Live in HD series. She also served as a member of the Met’s editorial staff, writing and editing promotions and features. Previously, she did freelance work at Condé Nast and Time Warner Cable. A Beinecke fellow, Marisa holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from Princeton University, where she completed an award-winning dissertation on early music and taught undergraduate courses ranging from Intro to Music to The History of Rock and Roll. She graduated with a B.A in Music and Studio Art from The College of the Holy Cross. Originally from The Bronx, Marisa currently resides in Brooklyn, and is an avid traveler, writer, early music vocalist and sometime stand-up comic. She hosts a weekly music review/comedy webshow and maintains a blog.
