Bonita is a teacher trainer / researcher / clinician / author who is an advocate for the rights of students to have equal access to learning (bblazer.org) In addition to her clinical practice Bonita is an ethnographic researcher and founder of Feel Good Kids Multi Media Research Publications, LLC. (www.fgkmm.com), which produces patient education materials in concise, easy to access, multi media formats. Over 3 million of her books have been distributed through pharmaceutical companies and physicians offices. Her goal is to make this state-of-the-art research available free to children, parents, and teachers worldwide. Currently her books are also available in Spanish.

Goal: to present a framework for action that gives kids training to contribute to a better world...... (i.e. what kids can do to make their community, their country, the world a better place)

I found ted through netflix.....and the idea of a community that can imagine and operationalize a better world though learning, sharing, creating, and doing .........gave further color and shape to my own dreams of active determination, optimism, and faith in humanity and the future. Within 24 hours i filled out the application and committed to joining a family that was both new and old. My first conference in 2009 was life changing.....such an intensified infusion of content with substance, creative form, and inspirational goodness. TED fills an expectation i have for rigor, intrinsic quality, and challenge when it comes to my personal goals for self development and self actualization .TED is the support I need to fuel my social action tank, and continue to improve the lives of children by working tirelessly for equality, justice, and peace.
