About Katherine

I am a…

Activist, Consultant, Entrepreneur, Marketer, Parent

Bio

Katherine is a nationally recognized expert on the topic of modern motherhood. The majority of her expertise comes from studying the passion & pain points of mothers around the world - the rest is accumulated from a little trial and lots of error while raising her own two rambunctious kids. After years of wearing the mask of motherhood ("everything's great, seriously!"), Katherine finally found the courage to open up about the trials and tribulations she personally felt as a mother. In an effort to help marketers and other mothers do the same, Katherine founded The Mom Complex, a global consultancy that turns the challenges of motherhood into game-changing products, services and communications for the way moms actually live. Katherine's deep understanding of mom behavior is why marketers such as Walmart turn to her for guidance. Honored by the Advertising Women of New York with their "Changing The Game" award, Katherine is among Ad Age's 40 under 40 and Business Insider's 30 Most Powerful Women in Advertising.
