The TED story
Bill T. Jones gave me a one-man standing ovation at Shonda Rhimes' party and it was one the best moments of my life. I then attended a secret prayer breakfast with conservative oil tycoons - in a pink silk suit. That night, I rode the elevator with Bryan Stevenson and we both smiled at our exhaustion - good work. Oh, and Oprah introduced us on to the big stage in Vancouver. Yes. I've been transformed by TED - to believe that the impossible is simply the next best idea.
