An idea worth spreading
we know that west Asian countries like Saudi Arabia spend around $40 billion for attaining food sovereignty. This concept of vertical farming may turn out to be the solution to food problems to such countries. And Since the GDP of most west Asian countries is $20,000+ they can economically afford this idea. Also, Vertical Farming uses 60% less water.
Also, MIT and Arizona university are running Green Sense Farms on experimental basis. However, India is not very active in the research of Vertical Farming.
