Bio

Margaret Stewart is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience leading design teams dedicated to democratizing technology across some of the world's most influential digital platforms, including Google, YouTube, and Meta/Facebook. Recognized by Fast Company Magazine as one of the Most Creative People in Business, she is a three-time TED speaker and a passionate thought leader in the fields of tech ethics and responsible design. She serves as Chair of the Board of Williamstown Theatre Festival and is a member of the boards of Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, Coyuchi, and East Fork Pottery. She is an investor and advisor with a focus on design-forward enterprises. Margaret has a practice of mending clothing for others, which she offers as an act of service.
