If I had to describe myself I would say that I am restless, a process over product kind of girl with a passion for agriculture and no matter the outcome, it is never enough.

My students: If it were not for my students I would not be on this amazing journey. I am also passionate about service. I love serving the community around me and organize projects on a regular basis. My final passion in life is agriculture. I am an Iowa farm girl and proud of my roots.

Current Ag Concerns: A student podcast series that focuses on the positives of agriculture. My students connect with professionals all over the world who share a common goal of providing sustainable food sources to meet the demands of our growing population.

My TED story comes from a TED Talk that one of my students shared with our principal. She shared it with the rest of the staff and the idea was born. I am grateful to my students for pushing me into this remarkable journey. It is an amazing event that I will never forget.
