About Carla
Bio
Carla Blumenthal is the Co-Creator and Program Manager for Funny Girls, a program of the Harnisch Foundation, teaching leadership skills to middle school girls through improv comedy. Collaborating with the Harnisch Foundation’s Executive Director Jenny Raymond, Carla was tasked with creating the curriculum, partnerships, training, and strategy + operations of the Funny Girls program. Funny Girls partners with social justice after school programs and trains instructors from within those organizations on the curriculum. Funny Girls has been featured in NBC Nightly News, Glamour Magazine, and Forbes.
In addition to her work on Funny Girls, Carla is an Executive Coach focused on Emotional Mastery. Carla coaches high-achieving men on emotional & relationship mastery through individual coaching and group programs. Her clients are technology and marketing executives.
In her spare time, Carla enjoys practicing and performing the Brazilian partner dance, Zouk, with her fiancé.
