The TED story
I have always been a big fan of TED talks and, in 2016, I decided to transfer this passion to my students, at Liceo Classico in Jesi, So I got them involved in public speaking, running for the first time a Ted- Ed Club. It made learning fun and more effective, as stimulating, engaging lessons are pivotal to the students academic success. During the summer 2018, my students’ enthusiasm and commitment made me apply for a license to plan a TEDxYouth Event in my town : our goal is to give a voice to all our local community‘s youngsters and to spread ideas and values around. I would like as many young people as possible to discover theTEDx format and to appreciate the power of ideas.
