Rahim is a teacher, curator and speaker as well as speaker coach. He is the founder and lead map maker of the Resourceful Human Project, Curator and Co- Founder of TEDxCalgary, as well as the founder of Progress Engines. As a public educator for 20 years-Rahim is invested in inclusive education systems that emphasize experiential learning. His desire to architect powerful learning is driven by his commitment to empowering citizens for an increasingly volatile and uncertain world. Rahim founded the Resourceful Human Project which aims to prepare the next generation for an unknown future. He has been engaged in civil society for over 16 years and is one of the longest serving TEDx founders and curators in the world. Rahim has been recognized for his work with numerous honours including the University of Calgary Arch Award and being named a Calgary top 40 under 40.

I stumbled onto TED in 2007 ago- and immediately adopted it as a teaching tool in my classroom as a Robotics and Astronomy Teacher at the time. I became the founding Curator of TEDxCalgary in 2009. The TEDxCalgary team is one of the most experienced TEDx teams in the world. Our mission since 2009 has been to create a garden of ideas and to make Calgary and Canada the best for the world. The TED and TEDx platform epitomizes trans disciplinary learning and quality thinking from remarkable thinkers and doers to me.
