Prior to managing engineers, I myself was a Senior Network engineer. I began my career as an intern at Verizon business, Network Operations at Cisco systems, and then moved to engineering at Twitter. Solving problems with Q&A, analysis, and data is something that motivates me to the core. Today I manage large corporate edge network teams with empathy, technical grit, and strategic leadership so they can achieve team unity, protect next-generation networks, and never stop growing. I feel very passionate about creating teams that feel respected and empowered. I've been heavily involved (led and volunteered) in employee resource groups to try and further my impact in these areas. I'm always listening with hopes of self growth and gratitude. “To change ourselves effectively, we first had to change our perceptions.”

My experiences as a gender non-conforming person fuel my passion to work towards equality for the LGBTQ community. I love improving education and awareness about gender/trans/gq/gnc rights and issues. Similarly, I am passionate about advocating for women's rights that includes medical rights, equal pay (HeForShe), legal protection for all and understanding unconscious bias in the workplace for everyone.

People wouldn't guess that i'm really good at making pasta and amazing red sauce. I am an Italian food enthusiast!
