Bio
Intimately intertwined in family wine business from age 6 to 23. Yes, really. 20 years in business developing cutting-edge technologies for nascent markets: cancer-detecting medical device, solar lights for people without electricity, augmented reality... Spend most of my time outside of work hanging out in slums and prisons. Bring those lessons back into business, as these individuals' experiences of transformation have profound lessons for business. And reforming the prison system has become an unintended passion after the Donovan prison men mesmerized all of us with the spectacular TRDxDonovanCorrectional event they ideated, planned, orchestrated and delivered. My vision: in 50 years, prisons as conceived today no longer exist and have become centers of transformation in which people connect to themselves, to others and to their Brilliance Inside. As they cultivate this brilliance, all they wish to do is give to others

Those conversations that expand my heart and bend my mind. Connecting with people with whom I seem to have nothing in common. Being where I am right now. Bringing peace to my heart and to those around me, particularly America’s “untouchables” locked up in our prisons
An idea worth spreading
When I see the me in you and the you in me, I connect to the humanness in us all. From there, it becomes irresistible to connect, help and give. Hereby breaking our cycle of violence.
