Chantal Bonitto

Chantal Bonitto Chantal brings her background in events and fundraising management, as well as her love for social justice and women’s philanthropy, to her role as the Director of Community Engagement. Most recently Chantal served as the Manager of Communications and Fundraising at the Thomson Reuters Foundation where she aided in launching a Friends of the Foundation membership program and led the formation of the US nonprofit arm. Prior to that role, she was the Director of Events and Individual Giving at the Ms. Foundation for Women. During her tenure, she raised the bar for the organizations’ fundraising events. Chantal has also served as the Conference and Membership Manager at Asia Society’s Partnership for Global Learning where she utilized communication tools to build a membership program as well as planned conferences for policymakers and practitioners in the field of secondary education. She is a graduate of Oberlin College and the Fundraising Strategy Certificate Program at The George Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising, New York University.
