About Jaixai
Bio
Jaixai Reineke is 16 years old. She was born in Rhode Island and lived there until she was 3 years old before moving to Michigan where she lived 8 years. She moved to South Dakota where she currently attends high school. She enjoys traveling and has visited countries in Asia, Central America and Europe. In 2016, Jai initiated and organized the first ever youth organized TEDxYouth event in the history of South Dakota. In 2017, she was the first youth invited speaker at TEDxBrookings. In 2019, she was also the first youth speaker personally invited by North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum as a distinguished Keynote Speaker at the Governor's Main Street Summit in front of a 1,000 plus audience. In her free time, Jaixai plays the piano, violin, competes in high school cross country, track and field, and cross country skiing. Jaixai has been privately tutored in Mandarin.
