Grew up in Texas in a family engaged in small business - real estate, A/C, etc. At an early age became fascinated w/space travel. Entered college as a business major but left college as an engineer - and running a commercial A/C business for a short time. Now have found my way to a place where my avocation aligns with my vocation - and in a place with people passionate about their work. We live in an age we can easily travel broadly (Shanghai awhile back), pursue experiences from cross-country skiing in Yellowstone to the immersion of a play on Broadway, eat in a time of creative food, and have the chance to give back. Glad to be helping as a licensee and organizer of TEDxNASAJSC. Engaging our JSC area community in this time of change through local TEDx events including the Youth event JSC hosted (11/20/10), our luncheon Salon events, and our TEDxNASAJSCWomen (12/2011) amongst other events. Glad to also have been a part of TEDActive2011 and the general movement of ideas.
