Bio

After graduating with a masters in landscape architecture and the psychology of social spaces, Danielle went on to give presentations in the largest design arenas, including ASLA, AIA, NPSG, APA, and more. She worked with the White House on their Pollinator Action Plan and gave a TEDx talk last year on How Parking Lots Can Save the Bees. At 29, Danielle runs a design and education studio with Tom Tavella, FASLAand is developing an urban bee certification with a prominent university.

I'm passionate about

Food and active transit. I was a gymnast for a decade and food is directly tied to my happiness... no matter who you are, I can for sure out eat you in a potato eating competition. I’ve lived in WI, TX, OR, and CO all without a vehicle.
