Bio

Staci Alexander is the Director of Outreach for AARP's newly created department of Thought Leadership. Ms. Alexander has a rich history of cultivating partnerships and alliances to support the work of mission driven organizations. Ms. Alexander joined AARP in 2011 as Advisor of Public Outreach in the department of Integrated Communications. Prior to joining AARP, Ms. Alexander provided strategy development, advocacy and program management for clients on urban and rural housing and community development related issues. Prior to her years as a consultant, Ms. Alexander serves as Assistant Director, By the People, MacNeil/Lehrer Productions and Senior Associate of the Community Strategies Group for the Aspen Institute. Ms. Alexander has a MPA from City University of New York, Baruch School of Public Affairs and a BA in political science from Vassar College.
