An idea worth spreading
Living in the present. Even though it may not be novel, I think people can get caught up in the stress of their day to day. If they're reminded to stop and appreciate where they are in the here and now, I think it can make a world of difference.

The TED story
I fell in love with TED early on, in high school. I would watch talks with my whole family and used a lot of the ideas as inspiration for interest pieces I was writing for my school newspaper. Coming to Northwestern University, I had no idea that TEDxNorthwesternU was around. Luckily I stumbled upon the event, and after attending the 2015 conference, I knew I had to be involved. The conference left me starstruck with the amount of possibilities, ideas and creativity that the world holds. I hope to add to this beautiful chaos and spread great ideas to inspire those around me to do the same.
