Bio
Misbahu, a journalist and development worker with nearly five years of experience in health and development communications, is a '22 fellow of Nigeria Health Watch's Solutions Journalism Africa Initiative. He also vets solutions stories for the Solution Journalism Network story tracker in 2023.
In 2021, Misbahu consulted for the NCDC and Nigeria Health Watch, documenting human interest stories on Kano State's response to COVID-19. Before leading the "Community Health Watch" project at Nigeria Health Watch, he worked with Nigerian Tracker and The Citizen Reports. His works have been published in the Daily Trust Newspaper, People's Daily Newspaper, Social Voices, and Nigeria Health Watch.
Passionate about research, documentary filmmaking, video, audio editing, and team management, Misbahu holds a bachelor's degree in statistics.
