Bio
I'm a Southern California native turned Bay Area convert after moving to San Francisco a little over 4 years ago. I live in the Dogpatch neighborhood of SF with my boyfriend, Jason and Cat, Arugula. It will never get old to see people's facial expressions when I talk about Arugula and they think I am personifying a leafy green.
I went to UC San Diego for undergrad where I majored in Communications (and minored in California burritos). I served as President of my sorority, Pi Beta Phi, and loved it so much that I went on to become a traveling Leadership Development Consultant for Pi Phi my first year out of college. I traveled to 31 states in 10 months and was able to meet thousands of inspiring women from all different walks of life.
I moved to San Francisco in June 2013 where I landed at an Australian Software company called Atlassian. I started at the front desk, hopped over to event planning, and then transitioned into Product Marketing which I have been doing for the past 2 1/2 years.
When I am not marketeering at Atlassian, I am serving as the Chair of our SF Foundation Council, helping support our global Foundation mission of educating 10 million children over the next 10 years. I also co-run a mentoring rings program and a women's group where we discuss diversity issues on a monthly basis.
I enjoy yoga, am an on-again, off-again runner, love all-things food and wine related, and spend the majority of my free time and money traveling to cool places to eat food and drink wine. A few of my favorite destinations are Hakone, Japan, San Sebastian, Spain, Cinque Terre, Italy, and any place in the Pacific Northwest.
I'm passionate about
Women's leadership, mentorship, traveling, food, & wine!
