I organized the 2017 edition and co-organized the 2016 edition of the TEDxUPFMataró, taking on the role of "making the event happen". I was involved in all tasks, with a focus on Partnership and Sponsorship, Communication, and Hosting in 2016. As the team was smaller in 2017, my role expanded to that of Lead Organizer, taking on most of the responsibilities before the event, such as securing all the speakers, sponsorships, partnerships and the production of the event. As well as managing marketing, PR, and communication. During the event, the team worked seamlessly together, allowing me to focus on being a good host. After the event, I took care of wrapping up all loose ends, including editing the talks, overseeing photography, and managing finances. I am pleased to have passed the torch to a new and enthusiastic generation who has continued to keep TEDxUPFMataró alive and thriving.
