Bio
Anjali Kumar is a lawyer, entrepreneur, investor, and storyteller who works at the intersection of business, culture, and social impact.
She is co-founder of ThoughtPrint.ai, currently in stealth, and founder of Slightly Reserved, an advisory firm providing legal counsel and business strategy for entrepreneurs, executives, talent, and brands. Anjali serves as Strategic Advisor to Mudita Venture Partners, sits on the Board of Governors for Brown University, and is an Advisor and Global Ambassador for the Stanford d.school.
An active angel investor across tech and consumer brands, Anjali is a business partner in Masala y Maíz, the Mexico City restaurant that earned a Michelin star in 2025 and was featured on Netflix’s Chef’s Table for its innovative fusion of Indian, Mexican, and East African cuisines. She also advised the Oscar-nominated documentary To Kill a Tiger.
Earlier in her career, Anjali held founding roles at Cheddar (Chief People Officer & General Counsel), Warby Parker (Head of Social Innovation & General Counsel), and Acumen (General Counsel). At Google, she served as Senior Counsel, created the Lunchtime@Google speaker series, and curated the chefs talks for the @Google series. Her 2017 TED Talk, based on her book Stalking God, has been viewed over five million times and translated into more than twenty languages. She co-hosted The Important Things podcast with Bobbi Brown for iHeart Media.
Anjali has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School and Fordham University, and serves on the boards of Honeycomb, Every Mother Counts, me too. International, Amplifier, and AmDoc/POV. She earned her BA in Biomedical Ethics from Brown University and her JD from Boston University School of Law.
