Bio
I was raised on three continents, in three different languages, which taught me that perception is always cultural.
As a serial and social entrepreneur, for more than 30 years I have studied biology and philosophy, exploring how the nervous system, together with our practices, skills, and interpretations, shapes how we perceive challenges and how we respond to them.
Along the way, with many partners we've created spaces for dialogue where communities, governments, and business leaders confront climate change, inequality, and technological disruption.
Living between business, activism, and culture, I have learned to bridge knowledge systems and uncover how outdated lenses distort our present.
In the companies, NGOs, and social movements I’ve co-founded, we have learned to co-create new ways of looking at the world that foster empathy, compasion, dialogue and collaboration for the common good.
I have co-authored 5 books on ecosystem building and Extreme Collaboration
I'm passionate about
Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Collective Intelligence, Change Management, Open Innovation, Future fitness, Business as a force for good, Cultural Change, art, Collaboration, Dialogue, Compasion
An idea worth spreading
In my work building companies and NGOs that help regenerate local social capital and rebuild trust, I’ve seen that "Extreme Collaboration" gently lowers the temperature of polarization.
Social media’s interpretive bubbles, combined with the dizzying pace of exponential technologies, can make the world feel confusing and even hostile, so it’s natural to look for a scapegoat to blame.
A kinder response is to create structured, welcoming spaces where people from business, government, and civil society can sit together, listen generously, and work side by side on the common good, without requiring agreement on every point. When we make room for shared action before perfect consensus, trust grows and communities heal.
