The TED story

I joined the TEDxFurmanU team in 2015, my freshman year at Furman University. I was inspired and challenged by TED talks throughout high school, and knew that TEDxFurmanU was an organization I was excited to pour time and energy into. After working on the organizing team for TEDxFurmanU's 2016 conference, I committed to serving at the head organizer for our 2017 conference, "Uncharted Territory." The conference was a huge success, bringing students and members of the Greenville community together for a day of curiosity, open-mindedness, and discussion. I look forward to advising future organizers of TEDxFurmanU for the remainder of my college career.
