For the past two years, Anne Toth has served as the Vice President of Policy & Compliance for Slack Technologies, Inc., focused on privacy, security, policy and compliance. Slack is a team communication tool on a mission to make your working life simpler, more pleasant, and more productive. Prior to joining Slack, Anne was the Head of Privacy for Google+ and was Yahoo!'s Chief Trust Officer overseeing privacy, data governance, child safety, advertising content policy, and related policy areas. Anne has testified before Congress about online privacy and behavioral advertising and before the Article 29 Working Party in Europe on search data retention policies. She has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Glamour Magazine, Financial Times, Guardian, PBS Newshour, ABC News and many other media outlets on the topics of privacy, security, diversity and the role of women in technology.
