About Alexandra
Bio
I’m Alex Adams, and I spend my days as the manager of corporate strategy at Sandia National Laboratories, where I get to tackle complex challenges that sit at the intersection of science, business, and organizational change. With a B.S. in Physics from The University of New Mexico and an M.B.A. in Global Business from Duke, I’ve spent 14 years studying humans and translating between scientists and executives—to lead transformational change.
I’ve been apart of TEDxABQ since 2013, and recently took on the challenge of relaunching the organization - because I believe that the TEDx model is a unique force of innovation and community building that every city needs.
When I’m not advising leadership or championing change initiatives, you’ll find me planning the next TEDxABQ event or my next international adventure. I’m passionate about creating resilience in our rapidly changing world, and I believe the best solutions come from combining systems thinking with a global perspective (and maybe a little humor).
