Bio

Tech start-up entrepreneur turned lawyer turned District Judge in Oklahoma County. Currently presiding over the largest Treatment/Problem Solving/Drug Court in Oklahoma. Working on solutions for addiction and recovery in the criminal justice system. Interested in the roles of neurobiology, meditation, technology, connection, meaning/purpose, design, bio-feedback, emerging chemical compounds, behavior modification and culture can help reform our global criminal justice system. Engaged in zero-to-one innovation in the criminal justice and addiction space.

I'm passionate about

I'm passionate about mindfulness and its potential to transform nearly everything. My specific focus is using mindfulness, emerging knowledge from neuroscience, game theory and technology (VR and social networks) to combat addiction and to aid those who are in our criminal justice system. I'm a student of the wisdom traditions. Into creating sustainable solutions & long term thinking. Criminal Justice Reform. Flourishing...Optimizing....Truth....Beauty. The TED story

Have organized several large events including TEDxOklahomaCity in 2011, then TEDxOU (Univ of Oklahoma), we just did another amazing event in OKC in April. Have attended TED Active in 2011, TED Summits in Doha, Banff and now Edinburg. Have made amazing friends from TED events around the world.
