Bio
Anshul Aggarwal graduated from the Manipal University in 2011 as a Mechatronics Engineer.
He underwent a transformation during his college and left a thriving engineering career for his will, not to be different, but to make a difference.
As the President of his college Student Council, (college strength=7000+), he initiated and encouraged a number of programs to facilitate intra university interaction and help inter-disciplinary innovation.
He was the licensee and Curator for TEDxManipal 2010.
He worked in Belgium at IMEC (www.imec.be) for 6 months (January 2011- July 2011) as a researcher for a nascent breakthrough technology to produce high efficiency intelligent solar cells.
He left the job to come back to India and do something for the education and public policy sector in India.
He has been selected for prestigious Teach for India and Grassroutes fellowships.
He has attended several national and International Model United Nations and has won at an International MUN in Belgium. He will be acting as the Secretary General at the MUN at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedebad in November 2011.
He represented India at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations Asia Conference 2011 at Seoul, South Korea.
He is currently working with the Design for Change Program and the Riverside Foundation (founded by Kiran Bir Sethi) (www.dfcworld.com) as a coordinator reaching out to hundreds of thousands of school in India and 30 other countries to empower children to be the actors of change.
He is also heading the youth organisation YUVA Unstoppable in Ahmedabad (www.yuvaunstoppable.org) which mobilises youth for several causes and random acts of kindness.
