Currently a software product manager at Google with interest in creating new technology that changes the way people interact with each other. My experience at Google includes developing and maintaining Gmail, launching the v1 of Google products for the Macintosh platform, and now working on iGoogle, Google's personalized homepage product.

Don't doubt yourself or your own abilities, no matter what! One of the more surprising experiences I had is when I signed up to train for a marathon. I couldn't run more than 2 miles before I started training. I just wasn't athletic. My thought was I could walk 26.2 miles in the worst case. During those 5 months of training, I realized that I've set up expectations and limits for myself all my life. I'm smart, I'm not athletic, I'm an artist, etc. Beating my own expectation every other week with a 10 mile, 12 mile, 15 mile, 18 mile, 20 mile, and eventually 26.2 mile run made me realize that if I need to rethink my limits and stop putting myself in a box.
