Bio
Grade 4 teacher at United Nations International School in New York City. Passionate about Education and giving our children a voice. Originally from the UK, I have taught in London, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Germany and the United States. I have picked up a few tips from some amazing educators along the way!
I'm passionate about
I have been an avid writer for many years and undertook a Masters in Creative Writing in 2010. I am a self taught guitarist and also play the piano. In my spare time I write songs, read as much as I can, and play golf.
An idea worth spreading
There has never been a more pertinent time for the voices of our children to be heard. They need to know that they can grow up in this world being able to make a difference.

The TED story
I am a huge fan of TED talks, and after watching a TEDx talk at Bonn International School (my previous school in Germany), I was blown away by some of the children's ideas. I decided that UNIS also needed to implement TEDx and set about applying for a license for our school.
Things you might not know
I have been skiing since the age of 4, though I don't go nearly as often as I would like!
