About Andrew
Bio
Since 2016, I've been working on a book about the perils of virality, the myth of linear progress, and the American far right. The book, "Antisocial: Online Extremists, Techno-Utopians, and the Hijacking of the American Conversation," will be published by Viking in the fall of 2019.
I'm a staff writer at The New Yorker and a contributor to Radiolab and The New Yorker Radio Hour, and my writing has appeared in Harper's, Mother Jones, the New York Times, and many other outlets. I live in Brooklyn with my wife, who is a criminal-justice reformer; my two-year-old son, who is an excellent dancer; and an endless supply of peanut butter.
