Bio
Vincent Kumwenda is a Tech Delivery Advisor for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change in Malawi. He is the lead in design and implementation of digital and tech entrepreneurship programs, advisory and tech policy initiatives. Vincent is motivated by the need to use technology to solve social issues, organize and mobilize youths for change and for economic development.
He is the former Chief Executive Officer of mHub, Malawi's first technology and innovation Hub. mHub is a social enterprise that champions the development of local technology solutions. Vincent is determined and passionate about digital technology, nurturing tech innovators and emerging entrepreneurs with technical and business skills to create sustainable business solutions.
For seven years, Vincent led the mHub team to cocreate and run entrepreneurship programs like the Growth Accelerator Malawi Entrepreneurship which has disbursed over $1million funds to 54 emerging entrepreneurs through blended financing approaches, the Jobs for Youth Incubation Program which has trained over 200 youths in tech-enabled businesses and several tailor-made digital entrepreneurship programs.
Vincent is the lead organiser of TEDxBwaila in Lilongwe
