I was an organizer in KASC (Korean American Student Conference) for three months in America. I primarily managed money as a member of Executive Committee. As the treasurer, it was my responsibility to determine how much money would be spent on each program and each order of the day. There were of course disagreements and petitions for more funds for particular causes, so with the goal of organizing a good conference, I had to help create unanimity between people from different countries and cultures. Communication was of the highest priority.

Lessons Worth Sharing. i love this TED-ED idea. While i was teaching my students in the Elementary school, I learned a lot from them. Emotions such as friendship, sharing and love. Adults think kids are too young to describe their feeling however Kids can express much better when they are participated in art. If you asked kids to build up new business, they would have been better than us because they have a force for good. In other words, they are good soul. On the other hand, we just normally adult can be easily affected by money, fame or glory. That is why I would like to keep supporting my students to make the world better. We don't help kids make insights. We help kids create insights. WE ARE EDUCATORS.

I am TEDxCheongjuED Director. I was one of nine organizers of TEDxDaejeon, which was the first in my city; I was mainly on the director of promotions team, where I convinced the managers of the Daejeon Convention Center to allow us to hold the event on their premises; although reticent at first, being unaware of what TED was, they came to understand and appreciate the event after our second assembly. I then gave presentations to businesses around the city to promote TEDx and receive funding and materials for the project. This was two years ago now, and the event is still going on, meeting on a monthly basis.
