Bio
As Deutsche Telekom's Innovation Catalyst, Helmut deals with all walks of disruption from a Telecom's perspective across nearly all verticals and industries and thus uncovers new unchartered territory for DT at the right time by matchmaking between DT's internal innovation champions and mostly external disruptive innovators aka the doers and shakers of their respective industry according to right topic, time and people.
Before that Helmut headed Innovation Management within Deutsche Telekom Products & Innovation since 2010. In this role he was responsible for seeding and driving innovation dynamics & culture as well as developing new business in products and services.
Besides that various engagements as mentor and partner of entrepreneurial programs and consortia foster cooperation between DT and start-ups. Helmut actively shaped DT's innovation and new business development since 2003. Before that, he helped set up Deutsche Telekom's digital broadband cable business until 2002.
