Bio

6 years ago I left Gothenburg, swedens second biggest town, for a life in the more rural mountain areas of Sweden. I ended up in a community of outdoor and mountain loving people staying together on a farm on the countryside close to Östersund creating a new and inspiring way of life. My career took a turn from IT consultant at a big international company to business and innovation advisor at the university where I now work to inspire and teach both students and teachers about future opportunities and how to design and establish sustainable business models. With a passion to create a sustainable and inspiring future in our region I am changing tracks a bit starting up a community based innovation hub in the town centre for start ups, visionairs, enthusiasts and entrepreneurs where we will try to push the norm of a regular workspace and also provide off grid and high tech workspaces and conference spaces among the trees and fields on the country side.

I'm passionate about

Passionate about tree houses, coworking communities, mountains and strong coffee

An idea worth spreading

Go brake a norm. It will do good.

Areas of expertise

Cargo Bikes, Co-creation, Innovation

The TED story

I am one of the organizers behind TEDxÖstersund which took place in the rural mountain region of Sweden last year. In 52 days a large group of enthusiasts set up a first event that started a ground shaking wave of creativity and proudness in our local community. The beautiful manifesto that we gathered around was this: ”#WhereIcomefrom, true enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, motivated and committed people have chosen a life in Sweden’s rural areas. We call this place home. We are part of an emerging future and we want to showcase that future to the world. We are the ones chasing the freedom to choose where we want to live and work. We embrace change and innovation with an open mind and we are the game changers who are here to stay.”
