Ege spent the last two years as a Vice President at Fortress Investment Group in the Private Equity Group and his primary responsibilities included hedging interest rate and currency exposure for the portfolio companies and evaluating investment opportunities on a wide spectrum ranging from traditional private equity type investments to more liquid structures including Mortgage Backed Securities. Before that he spent 10 years at Bear Stearns in various roles, the last 5 years on structured finance products focusing on interest rate derivatives. He has his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School with a dual concentration in Finance and Accounting. He grew up in Turkey and currently lives in New York City.
