Bio
Lope Gutierrez-Ruiz is a designer, curator and founder of a branding studio and typeface foundry. His work is driven by a desire to connect people and build a better, more beautiful world — no matter the media or resources. ¶ Lope grew up in the Caribbean, and his studio has been based in Austin and Barcelona for about fifteen years. He’s a recovering journalist and publisher, a Knight Fellow at Stanford, Senior Fellow at TED, has won many awards and has worked on some 500 (adventurous) design projects.
