Bio

Lope Gutierrez-Ruiz is a designer, curator and founder of a branding studio and typeface foundry. His work is driven by a desire to connect people and build a better, more beautiful world — no matter the media or resources. ¶ Lope grew up in the Caribbean, and his studio has been based in Austin and Barcelona for about fifteen years. He’s a recovering journalist and publisher, a Knight Fellow at Stanford, Senior Fellow at TED, has won many awards and has worked on some 500 (adventurous) design projects. He’d love to know if there is something you've dreamed of doing for a long time. ¶ Curatorial Work: hundredpoints.org ¶ Design Studio / Typeface Foundry: weareinhouse.com
