The TED story
Winning the NYU Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award. As co-founder of Vision Spring (formerly Scojo Vision), we demonstrate that business can be a transformative force for social good. We create innovative micro franchising programs that provide livelihoods and affordable vision products to the rural poor.
Over the last 15 years as Vice President of the Russell Berrie Foundation we funded transformative programs in Jewish continuity; religious understanding; diabetes and humanistic medical care. I have an MBA from NYU; a MIA and a Certificate in Middle Eastern Studies from Columbia University. I served in the IDF and am married with three children.
