My journey to the purple house of Vosges was a meandering, convoluted path, filled with impulsive decisions, speedy marriage proposals and a small pug named Tobie. From my hometown of smallville Connecticut I fled to New Orleans for college and a 7 year stint (insert imaginative ideas here that involve cheese grits and vodka) and finally landed in the frozen tundra of Chicago. Here, I was lucky enough to unearth a position at Vosges Haut-Chocolat. Medical school applications were quickly ditched in lieu of daily white chocolate bonbons (my favorite, with Champagne of course) and various positions over the course of the past years: Corporate Sales, Product Development, creative writing, and (what I believe to be my destiny), Special Events. Read: Chocolate Events. How can you go wrong? I am now on a constant search for the world's greatest parties, and am happy to bring Vosges chocolate with me wherever I go. All invitations will be happily accepted. I can suggest a chocolate truffle to match any mood or personality, just ask me. I have plenty in my handbag.

This will be my third TED with Vosges-- and my very first visit to Palm Springs. I had an amazing experience in Aspen last year, complete with a snow filled 2 day trip home (totally worth it) and WAY too many impromptu parties and late nights to count. I can't imagine what is in store this year...
