Bio

I work for the non-profit, CARE Board, as a Vista volunteer in Gillette Wyoming. I have been doing this since September 2015. Previous to this I was finishing my undergraduate in Biology at Hanover College in Indiana. My other work experience involved being a camp counselor for 4 summers. I'm 22 years old and I have two brothers. I was born in Evansville, IN.

I'm passionate about

Books, animation...especially that of Hayao Miyazaki, interfaith, guitars, violins, social work, collaboration, creativity, soccer, ultimate frisbee, hiking, and my friends and family.

An idea worth spreading

Advancing morality is the way to advance as a society. Governments, businesses, careers, schools, etc., should concern themselves with treating people individually and fairly. Once we do this we can take advantage of a much broader source of intellect and creativity.

The TED story

I love TED talks. I discovered them in high school but my junior year of college is where I really fell in love with them. They have instilled a drive to never settle but to always work towards the best. With careers, relationships, learning... TED talks help me make progress as a person. Now I'm even looking into organizing one for work.

Things you might not know

Singing. I don't sing around people very often but I'm told I sing well.
