I am a…

Educator/Teacher, Event planner, Performer

Bio

I am a creative and versatile educator with over a decade of experience in teaching, primarily in the field of Economics and Commerce. While teaching has been at the heart of my professional journey, I have always enjoyed exploring different ideas, taking on multiple responsibilities, and being involved in creative initiatives within my profession. I believe in bringing creativity into everything I do—whether it is designing engaging learning experiences, simplifying complex concepts, organizing activities, or finding new ways to connect with and inspire students. A natural multitasker, I enjoy stepping beyond conventional roles and contributing wherever my ideas, skills, and energy can make a difference. For me, education is not simply about teaching a subject; it is about creativity, curiosity, connection, and constantly finding better ways to make learning meaningful. With experience across classroom teaching, online education, tutoring, and working with learners with diverse needs, I continue to believe that the best ideas often come when we allow ourselves to think beyond the boundaries of our designated roles.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about creativity, education, and exploring possibilities beyond conventional roles. I enjoy being involved in different aspects of my profession, taking on new challenges, multitasking, and bringing fresh ideas into whatever I do. Whether it is teaching Economics, designing engaging learning experiences, organizing initiatives, or contributing to creative projects, I find energy in doing things differently and making a meaningful contribution. At the heart of it all, I am passionate about learning, creating, inspiring others, and proving that we do not have to limit ourselves to just one role or one way of thinking.

An idea worth spreading

I believe that creativity should not be limited to artists, writers, or traditionally “creative” professions. Creativity is a way of thinking—and it can transform even the most structured fields, including education. As an Economics educator, I have learned that teaching is not just about explaining theories, formulas, or concepts. It is about constantly finding new ways to engage, connect, simplify, and inspire. Sometimes, the best ideas come when we step outside the boundaries of our job descriptions and allow ourselves to explore, experiment, multitask, and bring our unique strengths into everything we do. My idea worth spreading is simple: when we stop limiting ourselves to a single role and allow creativity to become part of everything we do, we discover possibilities we never knew existed.

The TED story

My TED story comes from my journey as an educator who has never believed in limiting herself to just one role. For over a decade, I have been teaching, learning, creating, organizing, and constantly finding new ways to contribute to the world around me. While Economics and Commerce are my professional areas of expertise, creativity has always been an important part of who I am. I enjoy multitasking, exploring new ideas, taking up challenges, and becoming involved in different initiatives beyond the conventional boundaries of my profession. Through my journey, I have realised that we often define ourselves too narrowly: a teacher, an artist, a manager, a writer. But we are capable of being much more than a single title or role. My TED story is about breaking those self-imposed boundaries, embracing creativity in every profession, and discovering what becomes possible when we allow ourselves to explore all the different sides of who we are. I want to share the idea that you do not have to fit into one box. Sometimes, the most meaningful and creative journey begins when you step outside it.

Things you might not know

People don’t always know that, apart from being an Economics teacher, I am good at multitasking, creativity, and taking ideas beyond the usual way of doing things. I enjoy exploring different roles, organizing, creating, and contributing wherever I can bring something new to the table. I am also good at finding creative solutions, adapting to different situations, and turning ordinary ideas into something more engaging and meaningful. I believe this creative side of me is something that goes beyond my profession—and perhaps something people are often surprised to discover.
