Bio

I am an entrepreneurship professional based in Durango, Mexico, currently serving as Business Incubation Coordinator at World Trade Center Durango. My work focuses on supporting entrepreneurs, developing business ideas, and creating opportunities for individuals and organizations to turn their ideas into sustainable ventures. With a background in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Management, I am particularly interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, international business, and the development of initiatives that create meaningful impact in communities. I believe entrepreneurship is not only about creating businesses, but also about creating possibilities, challenging assumptions, and turning ideas into action.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, education, and creating opportunities for people to grow. I enjoy connecting people with ideas, developing projects, organizing meaningful experiences, and learning from different perspectives and cultures. I am also passionate about traveling and discovering new places, cultures, and ways of seeing the world. I believe that experiencing different cultures broadens our perspective, challenges our assumptions, and helps us become more open-minded and creative. I am especially interested in business development, creativity, leadership, and international business. Above all, I believe in continuously stepping outside our comfort zones, embracing new experiences, and challenging ourselves to become better versions of who we are.

An idea worth spreading

Entrepreneurship should be understood as a way of creating possibilities, not simply as a way of creating businesses. We all have the ability to identify problems, question what already exists, and imagine new possibilities. When people are given the knowledge, confidence, and spaces to turn their ideas into action, entrepreneurship can become a powerful tool for personal growth and community transformation.

The TED story

My TED story began in the classroom, where I discovered TED Talks as a source of inspiration, new ideas, and different perspectives. At the time, I watched them from the audience, curious about the people behind the ideas and the stories they shared. Years later, I have had the opportunity to experience TED from a completely different perspective: from behind the scenes. Through my involvement with TEDx UJED, where I currently serve as Finance & Compliance Lead, I have become part of the team that works to bring ideas, people, and stories together. This experience has shown me that a TEDx event is about much more than organizing a stage. It is about collaboration, responsibility, creativity, and creating a space where people can share ideas that inspire others to question, learn, and imagine new possibilities. Going from watching TED Talks in a classroom to helping create a TEDx experience has been a meaningful reminder that sometimes the ideas that inspire us from a distance can eventually become experiences we help create ourselves.

Things you might not know

I'm good at connecting with people from very different backgrounds and making them feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy listening to people's stories, finding common ground, and creating connections that can lead to new ideas and opportunities. I think some of the most meaningful things we create begin with a simple conversation.
