Bio
I am Ahed Khalid Khainah, a Yemeni media professional, radio presenter, and content creator, currently pursuing a degree in Sharia and Law. I have experience in radio hosting, podcast production, event management, and team leadership. I served as the Procurement Team Lead for TEDx Aden Youth, an experience that strengthened my belief that leadership is built on competence, responsibility, and dedication—not stereotypes. Through media, youth empowerment, and community initiatives, I strive to create meaningful and lasting positive impact.
I'm passionate about
I am passionate about creating meaningful impact through media, community work, and event organization. I love being part of experiences that add value to people's lives, and I believe every new opportunity is a chance to learn and become a better version of myself. What inspires me most is seeing a small idea grow into an achievement that makes a lasting difference in the lives of others.
An idea worth spreading
I believe that opportunity is the starting point of change. When we give young people the trust and space to lead, they exceed expectations and create real solutions for their communities. My experience leading the Procurement Team at TEDx Aden Youth reinforced my belief that breaking stereotypes begins by giving opportunities based on competence—not by making assumptions about age, gender, or background.

The TED story
My TEDx journey began with a step filled with hesitation, but something inside me kept saying, "Just try." I joined TEDx Aden Youth and had the opportunity to lead the Procurement Team. It was an experience that transformed me before it changed anything around me. I learned that leadership is not about a title—it is about responsibility, trust, and teamwork. I came away from this journey as a new version of myself: more mature, more confident in my abilities, and more prepared to embrace greater challenges.
Things you might not know
People are often surprised to learn that I thrive under pressure and genuinely enjoy turning chaos into a clear, organized plan. I also have a passion for writing, content creation, and voice-over work. I find my strength in organizing details and leading teams because I believe that great achievements begin with careful attention to the smallest details.
