I'm passionate about

I’m passionate about theatre, storytelling, and preserving artistic expression. Since 2006, I have served as a Theater Administrator, Wardrobe and Props Manager, Prompter, and Script Transcriber for the Gulf of Aden Theatre Troupe. I enjoy working behind the scenes to ensure every production is well organized and every performance reaches its full potential. Being part of the creative process and helping stories come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

An idea worth spreading

Theatre is more than entertainment—it is a powerful way to connect people, preserve culture, and inspire change. Every performance tells a story that encourages audiences to reflect, empathize, and see the world from a different perspective. Behind every successful production is a team whose dedication and collaboration bring those stories to life. I believe that creativity, teamwork, and storytelling have the power to make a lasting impact on individuals and communities.

The TED story

My journey in theatre began in 2006 with the Gulf of Aden Theatre Troupe, where I worked behind the scenes as a Technical Administrator, Wardrobe and Props Manager, Prompter, and Script Transcriber. While audiences see the actors on stage, I learned that every successful performance depends on the dedication of many people working together behind the curtain. Theatre has taught me discipline, teamwork, creativity, and resilience. It has shown me how stories can unite people across different backgrounds and inspire meaningful conversations. TED represents those same values by giving ideas a stage where they can reach and inspire the world. I hope to share my experiences and demonstrate how the people behind the scenes contribute just as much to creating unforgettable moments.

Things you might not know

People are often surprised to learn that I’m highly skilled at organizing theatre productions behind the scenes. I have experience managing costumes and props, prompting actors during live performances, preparing scripts, coordinating technical aspects of productions, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. I enjoy solving problems under pressure and helping every performance succeed.
