Connector

Bio

I am a community engagement leader and public programming professional based in Abu Dhabi. My work focuses on connecting people, ideas, institutions, and communities through meaningful programs, partnerships, and conversations. I previously led public programs at NYU Abu Dhabi and now work across community engagement and institutional relations. I am especially interested in culture, education, storytelling, and creating spaces where people feel included and connected.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about bringing people together through ideas, conversations, and shared experiences. I enjoy developing meaningful programs, moderating discussions, building partnerships, and creating opportunities for people to connect across different backgrounds and perspectives.

An idea worth spreading

Belonging does not happen automatically; it has to be intentionally created. Real community is built when people feel seen, heard, and invited to participate. Meaningful engagement is not about creating more activities, but about building trust, connection, and a sense of ownership.

The TED story

My TED journey began with TEDxAlBateen, where I helped create a platform for ideas and stories worth sharing. The experience brought together my love of public programming, storytelling, and meaningful conversations. It reminded me that the most powerful ideas are often the ones that help people see something differently.

Things you might not know

Reading a room. I can usually sense when a conversation needs a different question, when something important is being left unsaid, or when people need help finding common ground. I am also good at connecting people and turning broad ideas into clear, meaningful experiences.
