Bio

I am a community builder with a background in corporate leadership, nonprofit development, and volunteer engagement. I currently serve as Director of Youth Voice Foundation, supporting governance, community partnerships, strategic planning, and youth leadership initiatives that encourage meaningful dialogue and civic participation. Previously, I served as Co-Chair of the Lord Byng Secondary Parent Advisory Council (PAC), where I worked alongside parents, educators, students, and community partners to organize volunteer-led initiatives including the Winter Fair, Teacher Appreciation Lunch, Lunar New Year Celebration, and other community events that strengthened connections across the school community. Before focusing on community initiatives, I held leadership roles in management consulting, marketing, and business development, including founding NorthBridge Advisory Canada. These experiences strengthened my skills in governance, strategic planning, partnership development, and leading multidisciplinary teams. I recently joined TED Membership and hope to contribute to the TED community as a TEDx organizer in the future.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about building communities where people feel connected, valued, and inspired to contribute. Whether supporting youth leadership, organizing volunteer initiatives, or bringing together educators, families, and community partners, I believe meaningful change begins with people working together around shared ideas.

An idea worth spreading

Strong communities are built when people create opportunities for ideas to be shared, challenged, and transformed into meaningful action. By bringing together different generations, backgrounds, and perspectives, we can build stronger communities through curiosity, dialogue, and collaboration.

The TED story

TED has long inspired me through its commitment to sharing ideas that matter. Throughout my career in business leadership and my work in nonprofit and community organizations, I have seen how meaningful conversations can inspire innovation, strengthen communities, and create lasting impact. Joining TED Membership has deepened my connection with the TED community and strengthened my commitment to help organizing a platform where local ideas can inspire curiosity, dialogue, and positive change.

Things you might not know

I’m good at bringing people together behind the scenes. I enjoy connecting volunteers, building partnerships, solving problems, and turning ideas into practical action. Creating the structure that helps others succeed is one of the most rewarding parts of community leadership.
