The TED story
My TEDx journey began as a volunteer at TEDxVJTI Mumbai. I was part of the on-ground logistics team, helping with venue setup, decorations, and ensuring everything behind the scenes ran smoothly. While the audience experienced a few hours of inspiring talks, I got to see the countless hours of planning, teamwork, and attention to detail that made those moments possible. What stayed with me wasn't just the event itself, but the conversations it created. I watched people leave the auditorium discussing ideas, challenging each other's perspectives, and looking at familiar problems in new ways. That made me realize that the real impact of TEDx isn't limited to the stage. It begins after the talks end. That experience inspired me to take on a bigger responsibility. As the organizer of TEDxVJTIMumbai, I want to create an event where every talk encourages people to question assumptions, think more deeply, and carry at least one idea that stays with them long after they leave the venue. For me, TEDx is more than an event. It's an opportunity to build a community driven by curiosity, meaningful conversations, and lifelong learning.
