I am passionate about enhancing the human experience through love, creativity, wisdom, and meaningful action.
I am inspired by the possibility that humanity can evolve toward greater compassion, health, freedom, and harmony with one another and with Mother Earth.
I care deeply about regenerative solutions that restore what has been damaged and strengthen what is life-enhancing. Whether through sustainable design, ecological stewardship, artisan enterprise, education, hospitality, music, or community building, I seek pathways that serve the highest good.
I am passionate about creating spaces where people feel welcomed, seen, inspired, and connected to places where conversations become ideas, ideas become visions, and visions become realities.
I believe in the power of sacred sound, music, and beauty to heal, uplift, and awaken something essential within the human spirit. Through initiatives such as The Eighth Sense, I explore how frequencies infused with love, compassion, and intention can become catalysts for connection, healing, and evolution.
I support human rights, dignity, and opportunity for all people, including migrants and vulnerable communities. I believe every person deserves respect, belonging, and the chance to flourish.
I am passionate about mentoring others and encouraging dreamers, creators, entrepreneurs, artists, and changemakers to discover their gifts, trust their wisdom, and contribute their unique promise to the world.

I believe that every person carries a gift, every challenge contains wisdom, and every act of kindness sends ripples far beyond what we can see.
My work is simply an invitation to help those ripples become waves as we continue to evolve as a species . 🌎🕊️✨💚
An idea worth spreading
The Eighth Sense: sacred Sound & Music
For thousands of years, humanity has recognized five senses through which we experience the world. Modern science expanded this understanding to include additional senses such as balance, spatial awareness, and internal perception.
Yet there may be another emerging dimension of human experience—one that transcends sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell.
I call it The Eighth Sense.
The Eighth Sense is our capacity to consciously perceive and respond to frequencies infused with intention, emotion, meaning, and love. It is the profound human ability to be transformed through sacred sound and music.
Music is far more than entertainment.
Long before written language, music united tribes, healed wounds, celebrated life, honored death, and carried wisdom from one generation to the next. Every culture on Earth has discovered that certain sounds can calm the mind, elevate the spirit, inspire courage, deepen compassion, and awaken profound states of awareness.
We do not merely hear music.
We feel it.
We remember through it.
We heal through it.
And sometimes, we are forever changed by it.
Modern research increasingly reveals that sound influences the nervous system, heart rhythms, brain waves, emotional states, memory, and even social connection. A lullaby can soothe an infant. A song can transport us back decades in an instant. A symphony can move us to tears. A sacred chant can create a sense of unity among thousands of strangers.
Something extraordinary is occurring beyond simple hearing.
The Eighth Sense proposes that humans possess an innate capacity to receive and interpret frequencies as information that affects our emotional, psychological, social, and perhaps even spiritual well-being.
When music is created with love, compassion, beauty, and a sincere desire to serve the highest good, it becomes more than sound.
It becomes a carrier wave.
A vessel for healing.
A bridge between people.
A reminder of who we truly are.
In a world increasingly shaped by technology, division, and distraction, sacred sound offers something ancient and urgently needed: resonance.
Resonance is the moment when one heart recognizes another. When differences soften. When boundaries dissolve. When we remember that beneath our cultures, languages, beliefs, and identities, we share a common humanity.
The future of music may not simply be about what we listen to.
It may be about how we evolve.
As humanity continues its journey, The Eighth Sense invites us to consider that music is not merely an art form but a fundamental force for connection, healing, and transformation.
If we learn to create, share, and receive sound with greater awareness, we may discover that the frequencies capable of healing individuals are also capable of healing communities, cultures, and perhaps even our relationship with the Earth itself.
The next frontier of human evolution may not be technological.
It may be vibrational.
And the language that guides us there may be music.
“When frequencies resonate with love and align with the highest good, they transcend perceived boundaries and invite us into deeper dimensions of connection, healing, and unity.”

The TED story
My TED Journey
By Roger D. Jones
My connection with TED began several years ago in the remarkable city of San Miguel de Allende.
What first inspired me about TED was its simple yet powerful premise: Ideas Worth Spreading. The belief that one person, one story, one insight, or one breakthrough can positively influence countless lives.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting TEDx organizers and curators in identifying potential speakers whose experiences, discoveries, and perspectives could inspire others. While I have never considered myself the center of the TED experience, I have always enjoyed helping extraordinary people find their voice and share their wisdom with the world.
At the same time, my wife Rosana and I have welcomed many TEDx speakers, organizers, artists, scientists, educators, and changemakers to our boutique hotel, Casa Angelitos. Our home has often become a place where ideas are refined, presentations are practiced, friendships are formed, and inspiration takes shape.
Some guests arrived with excitement. Others arrived with nervousness, carrying the responsibility of presenting their life’s work in just a few minutes. We did our best to create an environment where they could relax, reflect, prepare, and step onto the TEDx stage with confidence.
Through these experiences, I began to notice something profound.
The most memorable TED talks were not simply about information.
They were about transformation.
The speakers who touched people most deeply were those who shared something authentic—something that resonated not only with the mind but also with the heart.
This realization helped shape an idea I have been exploring for many years:
The Eighth Sense: Music as a Healing Frequency
We know that sound affects us physically and emotionally. A song can bring tears to our eyes. A melody can evoke memories decades old. Music can unite strangers, comfort the grieving, inspire courage, and awaken joy.
What if music is more than something we hear?
What if music is something we perceive through an emerging human capacity—a deeper awareness that transcends traditional sensory experience?
I call this possibility The Eighth Sense.
The Eighth Sense is our ability to consciously experience frequencies that carry meaning, emotion, healing, intention, and connection. It is the recognition that sound can become a bridge between people, cultures, and even dimensions of human awareness.
As someone who has spent years supporting musicians, artists, educators, innovators, and visionaries, I have witnessed firsthand how music and ideas can transform lives.
Whether through a TEDx stage, a conversation around a dinner table, a sacred song, or a simple act of mentorship, we are all transmitting frequencies into the world.
The question is:
What frequencies are we choosing to share?
My hope is that through greater awareness, compassion, creativity, and love, we can consciously create frequencies that heal, connect, and elevate humanity.
Because perhaps the next great idea worth spreading is not simply an idea at all.
Perhaps it is a vibration.
A resonance.
A frequency of love.
And perhaps that is the true power of The Eighth Sense.

Things you might not know
People often know me as a hotelier, designer, entrepreneur, mentor, or sustainability advocate, but what many don’t realize is that I have a gift for connecting people, ideas, and opportunities.
I enjoy seeing potential where others may not. Whether it’s recognizing a future TEDx speaker, helping an entrepreneur refine a vision, supporting a musician’s creative journey, or bringing together individuals who can collaborate in meaningful ways, I love helping possibilities become realities.
I’m also surprisingly good at listening. Many of life’s most important solutions reveal themselves when people feel genuinely heard.
I enjoy mentoring, storytelling, event creation, hospitality, and creating environments where innovation, creativity, and human connection can flourish. I have a knack for seeing the bigger picture while appreciating the small details that make experiences memorable.
Perhaps most of all, I am good at encouraging others to recognize their own gifts, talents, and purpose—sometimes before they see them in themselves.
I don’t consider this a profession as much as a calling.
I simply enjoy helping people, ideas, and dreams find fertile ground to grow. 🌱✨🕊️
