Bio

I am Srilekha, a counselling psychologist and certified Career Analyst with 6 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I work with individuals navigating concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and trauma, supporting them through different phases of emotional and psychological distress. I follow an eclectic and integrative approach in my practice, drawing from a range of therapeutic perspectives to meet each person where they are. I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I intentionally adapt my work to the unique needs, pace, and lived experiences of every individual I work with. I am committed to creating a space that is safe, grounded, and non-judgmental—where people can slow down, make sense of their inner world, and reconnect with themselves. I believe that with the right support and environment, individuals can move toward greater clarity, resilience, and their fullest potential.

I'm passionate about

I am deeply passionate about the work I do and about creating meaningful spaces that support emotional wellbeing. Whether it is through therapy, school counselling, workshops, or mental health initiatives, I constantly strive to bring fresh ideas and practical approaches that make support more accessible and impactful. Working closely with students has inspired me to design and implement initiatives within schools that encourage emotional awareness, open conversations, and healthier coping skills from an early age. I believe schools play a powerful role in shaping not just academic growth, but emotional resilience and self-understanding. Through therapy and community-based mental health work, I aim to create environments where people feel safe to express themselves, seek support without fear of judgment, and recognize that mental wellbeing is an essential part of everyday life.

An idea worth spreading

Mental health and therapy should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic background. In a country like India, we are still at the early stages of understanding mental health. While conversations around awareness and stigma have started, much of it remains surface-level. There is still a long way to go before mental wellbeing becomes a genuine priority rather than an afterthought or something people speak about only in moments of crisis. I believe mental health should not be treated as a privilege available only to a few, but as a basic human need that deserves equal attention, access, and care. We need to move from using mental health as a “trend” or a threat, to creating emotionally aware communities where seeking support is normalized, affordable, and accessible to all. True change begins when conversations shift from merely surviving emotional struggles to actively nurturing mental wellbeing in everyday life.
